Lasting Memorial
Memorial Bike Rack & Bench
Manon made her home in and around Vancouver for nearly 3 decades. She was an avid cyclist–commuter, and a bicycle tourer. A bicycle rack and memorial bench have been placed at beautiful English Bay in Vancouver in her memory.
The bicycle rack is located along the “Seaside” bike path which runs along the waterfront into Stanley Park. The spot was chosen to be near the large Inuksuk and is right beside the huge trees on Beach Avenue that are illuminated by thousands of lights during the winter.
Down by the water, on the north-west side of the Inuksuk is a new bench installed to honour Manon and the wonderful life she lived. From here you can see parts of Vancouver and views of the north shore mountains where Manon enjoyed hiking and skiing.
When you visit Vancouver, be sure to enjoy the bicycle rack and find peace at the bench installed in honour of Manon and her life.

Visitors can park their bike and walk down to the Inuksuk and bench.

The bench in Manon's memory is on the right side looking out to the mountains.
